Aloha!
Dear Readers!
Now let's start with the art-historical-analyse!
- The two female mannequins, on one hand they recall the figures of De Chirico and on the other hand they go back on the work of Dali as a window decorateur, reflecting a deformed picture of the female sexuality.
- The bodies are too long and go back on El Grecos ideal figure; the excrescences in phallic form, holded by tiny crunches, are a motive Dali took from Sigmund Freud.
- Cold colours are dominating, in contrast to the yellow and red tones gain a special evidence, like the fire, which has taken the raising girafe.
- The long neck of the animal corresponds with the form of the two main figures of the picture.
- Paradoxically the element which produced the title is in the background.
- It's a bewildering image; we are situated in a dreamlandscape, in the world of the unconscious, where the dekontextualated objects adopt new, enchanting meanings.
- In the body of the foreground there are drawers which invite you to dissect, in order to get to the interior of the figure, to search for the most hidden secrets of the soul.
